Tisa M. Pedersen
Tisa M. Pedersen joined Temmerman, Cilley & Kohlmann, LLP in 2006 and practices exclusively in the areas of trust administration, decedent estate administration, probate conservatorships, and estate planning.
Miss Pedersen represents trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries in trust and decedent estate administrations, assisting and advising her clients in all aspects of the administration. She also assists in the preparation of estate tax returns and gift tax returns, where needed. For clients seeking a probate conservatorship for a loved one, she assists with preparing and filing all documents needed to appoint a conservator, and will continue to advise clients who are appointed as probate conservator in their administration of the conservatorship.
Miss Pedersen consults with her estate planning clients to develop a comprehensive plan addressing their concerns about providing for loved ones, reducing future costs of administration, minimizing tax liability, providing charitable gifts, and other specific concerns they may have regarding their estate. Plan documents typically include a living trust agreement, will, durable power of attorney for management of property and personal affairs, advance health care directive, nomination of guardians, or other related estate planning documents.
Miss Pedersen brings to her legal practice over 15 years of experience in the administration of retirement accounts, earning a certification as a Certified IRA Professional and national certification as a Credit Union Compliance Expert.
